Responsibilities:

• Independently handle product development and new product sourcing
• Work closely with buyers and vendors around Asia on price negotiations, sample development and approvals
• Follow up of the order status from initial sampling to bulk shipment
• Ensure on time and accurate data administration in systems

Requirements:

• Polytechnic or University graduate preferred
• Minimum 5 years of solid garment industrial & merchandising experience for Merchandiser; less than 5 years will be considered as Junior Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser
• Good product knowledge for Sweater OR Cut & Sewn Knit with good sourcing and negotiation skills
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Flexible and energetic team player
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and overtime if required
• Solution oriented and good knowledge in garment cost structure
• Good computer knowledge in MS, Excel, Words, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Immediate availability or maximum 2 weeks notification is preferable
