Job Description

The role is responsible for the day to day performance marketing management of Vans own.com that operates in 8 markets (China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesian, Thailand and Philippines) as well as identifying opportunities within each campaign to improve performance and act to improve results. Should be familiar working within various search engine and social media marketing interfaces.  In addition, this individual should feel comfortable developing creative optimization solutions to exceed established performance benchmarks. This role requires an analytical mindset and relentless drive for performance to optimize the campaigns for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to defining the APAC Digital agenda and strategy, connected with the regional Vans & VF Digital strategy
  • Set up lower funnel campaign strategies such as targeting, bidding, platforms, and provide hands on management and optimizations to exceed goal expectations
  • Generate and distribute weekly campaign performance reports to the leadership team as well as provide strategic analysis and optimization recommendations
  • Provide integrated analytical solutions to improve decision-making on various channels such as programmatic display, video, mobile, SEM and social Optimize SEO to drive high quality of search traffic
  • Manage media agency, develop and execute marketing working budget plan to drive search, display and other paid traffic on top of organic growth
  • Bring awareness of organic and paid traffic best practices to support local incremental traffic growth
  • Lead development of tools and reporting frameworks that provide information on traffic generation performance and effectiveness of respective activities.
  • Support new opportunities to generate growth through traffic optimization and collaborate with countries marketing to leverage such opportunities

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce or marketing preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in traffic generation, in-house or at a leading agency and experienced with major online platforms and its ecosystem
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently across departments with various levels of management
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to simplify complex messages and influence ideas and initiatives throughout all levels of the organization
  • Distinctive strategic mindset and ability to prioritize and delegate high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance
  • Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, strong ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships with various stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels
  • Profound experience with traffic analytics tools, ideally in both, Paid Traffic and Organic Traffic
