Job Description:

MAIN PURPOSE
Within the Regional Retail department, the Regional Client Insights Analyst will:
- Deliver analytics and insights to facilitate data-led and client-centric business strategies and action plans
- Take a data mining approach and implement systems to elevate understanding of clients in the region

KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Data & Insights:
- Provide ongoing understanding of client trends driving the Van Cleef & Arpels business. Delivering timely and detailed analysis on demographics, behaviors and purchasing propensities of new and existing clients.
- Translate data into meaningful reports to all levels of the organization; from management to retail teams
- Data mining within client base to identify opportunities to inform and optimize client retention, sales performance and client experience.
- Create seasonal studies and identify relevant data points to maximize commercial impact.
- Pilot new projects with external support on different scenarios of approach (predictive analysis/big data/machine learning/data visualization). Monitor, benchmark and share results with wider team.
- Liaison with HQ Insights team on data governance, alignment on new tools and sharing of best practices.
- Monitor effectiveness of CRM targeting strategies using analytics to identify opportunities for efficiencies in campaigns. Profile client segments by market to recommend targets for CRM campaigns.
- Maintain close contact with market level CRM and retail teams to share analysis and insights contributing towards action plans.

Client database management:
- Work with local markets to ensure the quality of client data meets business standards. Provide client data capture report.
- Coordinate data cleaning missions led by HQ.
- Coordinate with local markets to train boutiques on data capture.

Others:
- Preparation of presentations (strategic plan, business review, retail meetings).
- Collaborate with HQ/Regional/Local market teams on client database enhancement and special projects.
- Contribute to regional events, prepare client lists and client presentations.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant luxury trends and competitor landscape.
- Innovative mindset, constantly finding new technologies and tools to enhance the role.

KPIs:
- Timely and accurate delivery of reports, studies and dashboards.
- Effective and qualitative recommendations supported by insights and studies created for the region.
- Proactive contribution of strategic and relevant recommendations for each market.
- Quality of established relationships with local market teams and cross department functions.

JOB PROFILE
Education: University degree.
Experience: 3-5 years in customer analytics
Skills required: strong analytical, organized, responsible and excellent communication skills, detail oriented
Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft office, advanced in Excel.
Language: fluent in English (verbal and written) and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Highly analytical and critical – able to draw logical conclusions from existing data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact and build a rapport with team members across the business
Ability to understand customer data and communicate in a concise and relevant way to various stakeholders.
Strong time management skills with an ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests
Fast and independent learner
