Responsibilities:

• Being a programme coordinator in Hong Kong Office for China Programme;
• Provide administrative support for China programme, including translating documents, drafting correspondences and reports etc.;
• Coordinate medical programme with professionals, hospitals, foster families or volunteers;
• Assist in data collection and update database for records of websites, donor and fund-raising;
• Assist China Programme Head / Consultant on tasks follow-up etc.;
• Perform any ad hoc duties as required by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Humanitarian, Anthropology, Sociology, Social Work, Business Administration or relevant disciplines;
• Working experience in social services or China programme will be an advantage;
• Network with churches is preferable;
• Cultivate and pursue Christian excellence in our work and align with the Christian Vision, Mission and Core Values of Christian Action;
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
• Passionate to serve the orphans and abandoned children in China; &
• Occasional travel to China is required; &
• Applicant with stronger experience will be considered as Officer.

Christian Action was established in 1985 as a Hong Kong registered charitable organisation.  Our mission is to serve those who are poor, disadvantaged, marginalised, displaced or abandoned, aiming to give them hope, dignity and self-reliance.  Our service recipients include underprivileged children and youth, the unemployed, new arrivals, ethnic minorities, refugees, migrant domestic workers, as well as orphans and abandoned children in Qinghai; we also run social enterprise programmes.  Our services are based on the example of Jesus Christ to serve all people regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.
