My client is currently looking for a DYNAMIC & PASSIONATE Senior / Buying Manager (Menswear & Womenswear) – with STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN to support the rapid growth of the company. Reporting to senior management, you are responsible for the overall performance of Men / Women brands in Hong Kong through strategic buying and subsequent sales & inventory monitoring.

Key Roles 

• Responsible for the implementation of buying strategies and budget proposals to achieve sales, profits as well as inventory targets
• Formulate OTB plan in terms of merchandise assortment, product category, and size ratio etc
• Monitor the merchandise flow including managing inventory, sales forecast, gross profit margin to maximize company’s sales and profit targets
• Analyze market trends and sales performance on merchandise categories
• Work on retail price setting, perform market research and competitors’ analysis
• Attend product development meeting with design team to provide product feedback on the collection
• Collaborate with marketing, VM and retail teams for all product launches, promotions and PR activities
• Conduct product trainings to retail sales staff periodically

Ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Business with relevant 12 years’ experience in buying and merchandising areas, preferably from fashion retail industry or sizable companies. You should possess strong business and numerical senses, and analytical mind with proven track record in buying. With high adaptability to changing business requirement and across functional team environment and sound communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
