Responsibilities:

Work responsibly with brand product Development Team and with vendors to ensure sample approval on time before starting of bulk production in Sweater, Cut & Sewn knit and Accessories products.

Monitor the production Time and Action. Manage with factory capacity to ensure on time shipments and partner with Quality team to ensure no quality issue in production. Work cross functionally with Globe Material Supply Team, Quality Team, Product Stewardship Team, Logistic Team, Compliance Team and NGC/System to ensure the products are meet standard.

Drive and monitor the production Time and Action / Capacity to ensure on time shipments and no quality issue in production. Partner in operation/production while working with GMS team, Quality team, Product Stewardship team to ensure the products are meet standard.

• Ensure timely updates of lead time files, buy plan files, capacity & Production Minimum files, Production Samples tracking charts by weekly basis to U.S. planning team to ensure on time deliveries.
• Resolve Production samples and production issues with vendors / technical team and U.S. development team during line review meeting and timely approvals to avoid quality issue in bulk production.
• Prepare pre-book fabric with U.S. planning and yarn & fabric mills, monitor the yarn/fabric delivery dates and liabilities to vendors and U.S. planning team.
• Ensure submit all shades brands of fabric and washing dye lots to U.S. Development team for approval to meet the production schedule
• Execute all yarn/fabric/trims and PPS submit to U.S. development team for approval to meet the plan cut date in production.
• Visit factories to monitor the daily out-put, plan cut date and quality to ensure on time delivery.
• Organized and understanding of prioritization and strong communication skills.
• Work independently with proper reporting skills and production order follow up

Requirements:

• Polytechnic or University graduate in Merchandising / Clothing / Textiles or related disciplines
• Buying office or trading company in garment industry
• 3-5 years desirable in garment merchandiser position
• Proactive, solution driven and self-motivated. Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
• High adaptability and ability to work in cross functional capacity
• Advance level in excel (pivot table, V-lookup), knowledge on Powerpoint will be a benefit
• Frequency of Travel: Twice a year
• Excellent Chinese / English written and Verbal communication
