Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with European Product Development Team and vendors to monitor product development from prototype to salesman sample.
• Capable to identify commercialization barriers by working with factory and product developers throughout the development process
• Responsible for costing and price negotiation with vendors
• Drive profit maximization by working and monitoring the materials costs with GMS team and workmanship (CM, Wash, material consumption) on product execution with garment vendors.
• Assisting Senior Merchandising Manager on efforts to help factories achieve CSR requirements with contribution from RS team.
• Recommend best solution to prevent/address potential issues
• Collaborate with fabric and trims team, QA and Lab Service department to ensure proper product has been developed
• Good time management to monitor the sourcing activities to achieve deadline.
• Able to drive fitting section and sign off meetings with the brand.
• Join product development trip to visit factories
• Work on ad hoc projects as required 

Requirements:

• Polytechnic / IVE graduate in Merchandising / Clothing / Textiles or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant experience and minimum 2 years Supervisory Experience
• Good communication skills & an ability to work with cross functional teams
• Able to bring suggestions for reducing lead-time for speed to market
• Exceptionally logical, dedicated to details and passionate about accuracy
• Proactive, solution driven and self-motivated. Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
• High adaptability and ability to work in cross functional capacity
• Advance level in excel (pivot table, V-lookup), knowledge on Powerpoint and photoshop will be a benefit
• Excellent Chinese / English written and Verbal communication
