Job Description:

The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Ordinance (Cap. 321) to:

• Promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong’s industrial and business communities;
• Promote trade, investment, technological advancement, manpower development, and business opportunities in Hong Kong; and
• Represent the business’s views and advise the government on policies and legislation which affect business

Being part of the membership relations team, the incumbent will responsible for membership marketing, industry groups communication, public relation and event management to support members acquisition and retention. To success, the candidate is expected to:

• Plan, lead and provide hands-on support on corporate events, members activities and provide marketing services in Hong Kong and the Mainland in formats of seminars, exhibitions, missions, award schemes, business matching, and other business-related networking events, etc.;
• Provide Secretariat services to the assigned industrial groups for membership services including preparation of meeting agenda, papers and minutes as well as supporting the industry group-wide initiatives such as funding application and implementation of marketing projects;
• Drive members acquisition and retention through members visit and provide high quality supports;
• Prepare promotional materials i.e. flyers, brochures, eDM, social media positing for event marketing and promotion;
• Provide support to other ad hoc projects and activities.

Job Requirements: 

• University graduate in marketing, event management, public relations, communication, hospitality or business-related disciplines;
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience; working in trade/business associations or governmental offices preferred, but not essential;
• Hands-on experience in event coordination, knowledge in producing marketing collaterals such as booklets, flyers, directories and eDM is a plus;
• Tech-savvy and independent with minimum supervision; 
• Attentive to details, outgoing with positive thinking and willing to meet people;
• A good team player with good project management skill;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Occasional business trips and irregular working hours may be expected;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Executive.
