Job Description

For our client, French pharmaceutical group and world leader in its therapeutic area, we are currently looking for a Sales Channel Manager APAC to join their regional office in HK.

This manager will be in charge of the optimization of key partnerships across the APAC region, especially in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Reporting to the APAC Director, the Sales Channel Manager APAC will be responsible for effectively managing the distributors in charge of the promotion and distribution of the brand in those areas. The goal will be to support and follow the distributors in order to achieve the business objectives and bring the business to the next step.

Furthermore, this person will be responsible for ensuring reporting accuracy while initiating, planning and supporting all Continuous Improvement Process projects.

 

Daily Tasks

  • Investigate market potential, measure productivity, propose sales structure, customer preferences and buying patterns and trends.
  • Visit sales force to gather needs and advise on potential improvements.
  • Develop and facilitate key business reviews processes focused on finding opportunities and risks related to achieving commercial plans.
  • Provide people analytics. Assists sales and marketing management teams in generating and analyzing performance indicators.
  • Support recommendation policy, procedures, work standards & organizational changes to meet business goals & objectives.

 

Profile

  • University/bachelor’s degree education.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in Commercial Excellence/Effectiveness, Field Force Effectiveness.
  • Required knowledge: segmentation, targeting, territory design, CRM systems, pharmaceutical market, sales demand generation process, healthcare ecosystem.
  • Required skills: analytical skills, hard problems solver, discernment for dealing with business insight.
  • English and Mandarin proficiency.
  • Availability to travel (domestic and international destinations)
  • Very good interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with distributors.
  • Self-starter and diplomatic.
