Located in Hong Kong, BASF’s Asia Pacific headquarters oversees more than 18,000 employees at about 100 production sites and 125 sales offices across the region. In addition to a number of regional business units, the Hong Kong office also houses regional functional units including Corporate Affairs, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Management Consulting, Procurement and Supply Chain Services.

Objectives of the Position

Reporting to the Manager, Construction Chemicals Asia Pacific, you will:

• Support the sales activities of Supply Chain functions 

Job Responsibilities 

• Responsible for sales and purchase order creation

• Follow up shipment with suppliers including custom clearance

• Handle logistic for delivery to customer

• Inventory management e.g. stock count and reconciliation, monitoring expiry inventory

Requirements

• High school graduate

• Have at least 3 years of relevant shipment, supply chain and inventory management experience

• Candidate from MNCs will be of top priority

• Candidates with both purchasing and sales order experience ae preferred

• Good knowledge in SAP; high proficiency in Excel

• Able to collaborate and network within matrix and intercultural teams

• Strong communication skills, motivated and a quick learner

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
