As the Logistics Manager, you will be the key driver of change management to optimize the workflow in different sites across the globe.  You will lead a small team while reporting to a Logistics Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, participate and provide support to various logistics projects globally, which align with the company’s supply chain initiatives
• Work with sites logistics team to understand and integrate data source and quality reporting requirements
• Establish a strong network in the industry to understand the global ocean, airfreight and courier & domestic markets
• Apply best practices in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Establish appropriate project governance, including project steering committees and work team group meetings
• Facilitate project status, oversee the implementation, own the delivery of projects and conduct evaluation with justifications
• Prepare clear communication to drive decision making, obtain guidance and direction and/or inform stakeholders on project status

REQUIREMENTS

• Attributes & Competence

o   Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

o   Ability to initiate, influence and manage the change

o   Strong planning and project management skills, knowledgeable in some logistics topics, e.g. inventory/ SKU analysis, storage medium and transportation methods

o   Strong in logical thinking, analysis and dealing with numbers

o   Excellent in Microsoft Excel / Access for data analysis

o   Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

o   Enjoy travel in China / overseas

• Experience
  • Around 8 - 12 years’ relevant experience of which 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in an MNC environment
  • Regional project experience would be an advantage
  • Degree holder
