Job description:

• Handling casualty offers from producers and maintain regular contact with existing clientele and producers as well as develop new producers to meet business development target.
• Deliver the Team production and profitability budget in line with the underwriting guidelines and company philosophy and adhere to internal and external compliance procedures.
• Prepare underwriting reports in accordance with Casualty Manager requirements.
• Explore new opportunity and new emerging risks in order to develop new insurance products and enhancement of existing policy forms.
• System input and co-ordinate with policy administrative team to ensure policy issuance and premium bookings in appropriate manner. 
• Provide training to Junior Casualty Underwriter.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge in market conditions and casualty insurance products.
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
• Understand the value of delivering excellent and professional customer services to meet needs of client and producers.
• With good connections with key producers in the market.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral and fluent in Cantonese and English, other language such as Mandarin will be a privilege.
• Experienced in use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and other relevant computer software
• University graduated.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in casualty underwriting.
