Duties:The appointee will provide programme management assistance and teaching support to programmes in the subject area ranging from Certificate to Postgraduate level. Specifically, he/she should be able to teach a combination from the following subjects areas related to sports, exercise and recreation management: Research, Planning and Policy; Management, Marketing, Facility and Event Management, and Sport Coaching and Exercise. He/she willprovide academic support to both full time and part time programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, guidance to students, assist in the development of new programmesand attend meetings as requested.

Requirements:  Interested applicants should have a Master degree in sports and recreation managementor a related field of study, and experience in teaching relevant subjects at post-secondary and postgraduate levels. The successful applicant should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage resources.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese are preferred and experience in programme management will be a definite advantage.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
