Requirements
Ideally, you have completed a postgraduate degree in computer science or electrical engineering and have already collected your first professional working experience. you have good English language skills and you are a communicative team player who inspires the applications of motion control in robotics, 3D printing, medical technology, drones, industry 4.0. You are interested in processor architectures like DSP and they are looking for new challenges in an international team where they can travel a lot.
Area of responsibility
You develop a hardware-related software for new products based on 32 bit arm and DSP processors. In doing so, they are directly involved in the development of a dedicated Drive IC , which includes both dedicated hardware blocks for the control and regulation of motors, as well as with the FPGA depending on the application area. can be expanded flexibly with software functions and communication stacks. Based on this Drive IC, you are developing firmware for new standard assemblies and customized modules for driving BLDC , stepper, low voltage servo motors that have various modern field bus systems, such as Canopen or Ethercat
Your profile
Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
Profound programming experience in embedded systems and microcontrollers in C (for example based on ARM -CPU or DSP)
Experience in dealing with debugger tool, GCC, GDB, JTAG as well as know-how in working with typical development environments (prefers Eclipse)
Familiarity with modern methods such as SCRUM
Additional practical experience in the field of digital technology / VDHL and basic understanding of hardware development are of advantage
