Responsibilities:

• 3D Modelling of design concepts into working solutions
• Prepare production of manufacturing and engineering drawings for parts and assemblies
• Specification of material requirements based on design parameters
• Defining machining and assembly guidelines for newly developed products
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure quality and cost of bought in components
• Prepare related technical document, conducts analysis of engineering design to meet product and manufacturing requirements
• Support the technical transfer design by R&D to production team and help solving production problem during NPI
• Able to troubleshoot, conduct root causes analysis and problem solving process

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar 
• 3 years minimum working in a design engineer role
• Strong in molding processes, plastic mold and metal tools 
• Practical skills in Cero
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal forming, injection molding, die-casting and assembly etc.
• Experience in mechanism design and/ or mechatronics design for consumer products as headphone, earphone, wearable devices, medical product or any other commercial products
• Participate in Design Reviews, DFM and FMEA analysis
• Experienced working cross-functionally with industrial design and product marketing specialists
• Good command in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Able to work independently
• 3-4 days working in Dongguan factory
