Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all financial and accounting management, direct and coordinate the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, investment activities of the company
  • Manage all accounting operations including GL, A/R, A/P, billing, cost and inventory, etc.
  • Perform financial planning and tax reporting, business analysis, cash flow management, budgetary control and operation review
  • Suggest updates financial policies and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management and accounting to improve management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review all management accounts and prepare reports for top management in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Manage the internal and external audit to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Prepare the financial forecasts and statements, annual budgets and business activity reports requested by top management
  • Monitor and assess the performance of financial and accounting staff, recommend and implement personnel actions 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance and Accounting or related subject with professional membership of CPA/HKICPA/ACCA
  • At least 12 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in FMCG industry with minimum 6 years in managerial position in sizable company
  • Practical knowledge and experience of HK listing rules and regulations, HK and PRC accounting and tax polices
  • Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Proficient in ERP or experience in implementation of accounting system is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and management skill, ability to work with different levels
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Financial Controller
  • Immediate availability is preferred
