Job Description

Position Description

  • Oversee Financial Accounting systems and processes and ensure controls are in place to safeguard the business.
  •  Support HOF in new business initiatives.
  •  Oversee new Accounting & Tax standards/ordinance and ensure compliance with regulations.
  •  Prepare Group Corporate Budgets & Forecasts.
  •  Ensure Accounting function is managed timely and accurate preparation and presentation of the Company’s financial data, as directed and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  •  Oversee management of all direct/indirect tax compliance and ensure requirements are met as directed and in accordance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and other Authorities.
  •  Oversee management of Accounts Receivable, banking and other corporate activities as required.
  •  Oversee management of Payroll & associated responsibilities, ensuring compliance to Hong Kong ordinance.
  • Oversee management of Accounts Payable ensuring compliance, processes and timely payments of invoices.
  • Manage team to ensure transactional support, functional excellence and high-quality financial support to the entire business.

Qualifications / Experience

  • A degree in accounting or similar subject from a recognised university – Essential.
  • Qualified professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA etc).
  • Proven financial, statutory reporting and analytical skills - Essential.
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures - Essential.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills – Essential.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks - Essential. 
  • Ability to work independently and liaise with Senior Management - Essential. 
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills – Essential.
  • Staff supervision and team management - Essential.
    Previous commercial finance experience (7+ years) in a similar role/environment – Desired.
