Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre

The Centre is the first local independent certification body of organic production in Hong Kong. It provides organic certification service and actively promotes organic movement to public through mass publicity and educational campaigns. The Centre is seeking passionate and energetic candidates who are interested in organic and agricultural development in Hong Kong to fill the following position:

The appointee is expected to (a) provide clerical and operational support to the Centre; (b) handle telephone and email enquiries, income and expenditure records; (c) assist in administrative work in daily operation and promotional events; (d) assist in filing and report compilation; (e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Centre or his delegates.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines, with at least three years of relevant experience;

- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);

- Good communication and organisation skills;

- Proactive, attentive to details, and able to work independently; and

- Applicants with less experience will be considered for Project Assistant position.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year.  Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
