Head of Investor Relations (Institutional Sales / Equity Sales background)

Our client is a listed company with global operations. They are now hiring a Head of Investor Relations with Institutional Sales / Equity Sales background to join their Hong Kong Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Group CFO
• Perform financial analysis, due-diligence and Corporate Finance activities
• Liaise with investment analysts and institutional investors for road shows.
• Manage and lead the strategic direction of the entire IR function of the organization
• Formulate corporate IR strategies to enhance communications with shareholders, fund managers, buy/sell-side analysts and reporters
• Build and maintain good business relationship with fund management companies, equity research analysis, Investment Banks, financial reporters and public media
• Develop and manage investor base through effective analysis and outreach
• Dealing with institutional investors and equity analysts
• Prepare IR materials including annual reports, corporate presentations, Q&As and press release
• Ad hoc tasks, perform translation for management

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in investor relations, corporate communications or related field
• Knowledgeable with regards to the current financial and economic landscape of both Hong Kong and China
• Strong business acumen
• Able to handle pressure well
• Strong media network with a background in communications will be an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Investor Relations Manager.
