Their suite of comprehensive design consultancy services includes home furniture rental and a host of design and styling services for property developers, designers and organisations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Image & Style team implements the Indigo Living visual brand identity through visual merchandising, photoshoots and property styling.

We execute and supervise the visual merchandising strategy across 8 stores in Hong Kong, China and the Middle Eastin accordance with Indigo Living standards to maximise sales. We produce and style all photoshoots, most notably our seasonal Lookbook. We provide property styling services using our range of furniture, artwork and home accessories on a rental or buy arrangement. This unique service offering has been designed to help property developers maximise the appeal of a property to a potential client.

We are currently looking for an individual who will be instore VM implementing the Indigo guidelines during the set-up. Working closely with the Global VM you will help to plan, create and implement beautiful stylish VM interiors that mirror our Lookbooks and the Indigo Living lifestyle across our retail stores.

We are looking for a very dynamic, creative and passionate person.Motivated, organized and detail-oriented; able to work independently. You will have a strong desire to grow and be challenged.

 

This job position requires schedule flexibility and travel across several locations in Hong Kong. Both office and manual work will be expected, as well as overtime.

 

  1. VISUAL MERCHANDISE PLANNING

-          Liaise closely with the Buying/Merchandise team

-          Knowledge of what the complete seasonal collection is (NEW/CORE/SEAS) at all times

-          Assist Global VM plan the complete seasonal collection across all stores

-          Home accessories cabinet plan concept aligned with seasonal look book and looks

-          Home accessories planogram across all stores according to stock level

-          Produce setup guidelines for home accessories for internal store books/guidelines across all stores

-          Develop creative displays to enhance product sales – slow movers and highlight new arrivals

-          Adding value by sharing market observations and knowledge to facilitate VM development

  1. IN STORE VISUAL MERCHANDISING

-          Ensure the smooth set-up of all seasonal, promotional and sale shop changes

-          Book and manage the shop change schedule across Hong Kong stores, including handymen

-          Supervise retail stores on a regular basis ensuring they are following the store book/guidelines and Head Office instructions

-          Help achieve sales targets within stores

-          Liaise closely with retail staff to understand their challenges and market changes

-          Support Global VM in training retail staff on how to maintain their stores and upsell our product

  1. ADMIN

-          Keep internal paperwork up to date.

-          Learning our internal software (Navision, Netsuite, Sharepoint, Smartsheet) and liaising with Merch team is key.

-          Keep an updated and complete visual and paperwork record for store intervention

-          Monthly reports

-          Instore reports

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

-          Team work across all business units

-          To be responsible with the quality and accuracy of work produced

-          Complete tasks within a given time frame, able to work towards tight deadlines and with a high degree of flexibility

-          To have excellent product collection knowledge

-          File management and administration skills, with an awareness of inventory management and in-house inventory systems

CORE COMPETENCIES

-          Diploma or above in Interior Design/Decoration or related discipline

-          Must possess a strong sense of design, colour and style with an understanding of global home design trends and latest materials.

-          High level organisational skills with strong time management.

-          Proficiency in Excel will be highly valued.

-          Proficiency in Creative Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign). Sketch-up will be valued.

-          Able to work creatively within a project team environment; Good communication and team skills, Self-motivated, hard working and willing to work overtime.

-          Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

-          Availability to travel is preferred.

-          Fluency in spoken English a must, it will be beneficial if candidates are multilingual.

-          Immediate available preferred.
