Job Description

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Office of Dean of Business

The appointee will be a key member of the dynamic External Relations team to proactively develop and implement communications strategy to strengthen the School’s market position and alumni engagement. The appointee will be responsible for both strategic and day-to-day digital marketing activity designed to increase global awareness of the School, and increase traffic, engagement and conversions online. Key responsibilities include: (a) developing digital marketing plans for local, regional and international promotions; (b) implementing digital marketing programmes covering online advertising, social media and mobile marketing, digital CRM, database management, content strategy and web management to improve cross-platform digital experience and achieve marketing objectives; (c) daily management of all digital channels; (d) tracking and reporting of digital marketing analytics and to optimise campaign performance; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess (i) a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with at least six years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, stakeholder engagement or related fields, some of which is at supervisory level; (ii) solid experience in digital marketing with thorough understanding of web production/online advertising/social media and mobile marketing/digital CRM and database management/Google Analytics; (iii) a team player with strong interpersonal, communications and project management skills; (iv) high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, and preferably including Putonghua; and (v) knowledge of and experience in business education/integrated marketing/basic design and photo editing/shooting skills will be advantage. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Officer (Marketing and Digital Communications).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Reference salary range: HK$25,600 - HK$49,900
