Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and document Web based and/or mobile applications and services.
• Assist in system, database and architectural design according to project requirements, as well as program testing and deployment of systems.
• Provide various technical and programming supports to the project team.
• Take up any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor or Division Head.

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in software system development, preferably with exposure to public cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Able to perform system analysis and design process.
• Solid knowledge in PHP, Javascript, and REST API as well as major database systems such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Good knowledge in Web based development technologies: HTML5, CSS, and Ajax.
• Knowledge in either (i) Mobile app development for iOS /Android or (ii) Container/Docker technology is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, proactively to meet strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Team player and positive can-do attitude.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Software Engineer / Assistant Analyst Programmer / Assistant Web Application Developer.
