A leading Financial services provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Manager/Assistant Manager who has 6 years’ experience in leading IT functions in the Life Insurance industry.

  

Key Responsibilities

Independent management of IT projects and lead multiple sub-teams to perform system development, enhancement and maintenance.

 

• To design system solutions, prepare user documents and monitor UAT plan execution aid in prioritization of projects
• Designing and documenting the workflow and making appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness
• Planning and monitoring detailed project plans and coordinate project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames
• Consult and collaborate with business groups to understand their business needs, goals and objectives, processes and requirements
• Coordination with system vendors on all related activities
• Monitor the performance of team to ensure the objectives of the department are accomplished

 

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science or related subjects
• 5 years’ experience, with strong Life Insurance background
• Proficient in Oracle; MS SQL database
• Proficient with application development - in .NET, Java, SSIS
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational and leadership/people management skills
• Good command in written & spoken English and Cantonese
