Risk & Compliance Department

Job Scope:

The incumbent will be required to conduct compliance risk assessment and analysis to help the business units develop compliance standards and procedures and ensure consistent compliance practices are in place and rectify incidents of non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform compliance review and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of controls to address compliance risks in the organization's sales practices, investment, marketing and operational processes;
• Monitor new and proposed legislation, regulations and guidelines that could impact the operations and communicate such changes to the business units in an effective way;
• Revise and maintain the monitoring system to comply with relevant regulations and internal guidelines and policies;
• Manage the Incident Reporting program to ensure the prevention, detection and remediation of non-compliance of regulatory and misconduct matters;
• Develop compliance training materials to enhance compliance awareness and promote a culture of compliance across the business;
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet any ad-hoc requirements.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, law or related disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in compliance management or audit with financial institution is an advantage;
• Familiar with legal and regulatory requirements of insurance industry;
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently as well as a team player
• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese and English

Fringe benefits: double pay, medical benefits, annual leave, and mandatory provident fund.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00am – 6:00pm)
