The Job

• Research, monitor, report and analyze industry trends on market intelligence and developments in global OTT video market
• Deliver regular reports on competitors' performance metrics (Business, Content Genres, Audience Profile, Subscription, Revenue, etc.)
• Provide insights on competitor strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and strategic plans
• Based on competitive intelligence, assist content team to develop impactful content strategies
• Based on viewership reports and user behavior to develop content strategies and editorial angles
• Based on market trend, explore popular new content genres to capture new audience
• Develop and maintain a bank of relevant primary and secondary data sources
• Build and maintain an active network of internal and external intelligence sources
• Attend industry conferences and provide reports on industry, market trends and competitor developments
• Work closely with regional markets on content strategies
• Provide social media listening and analytics plan for Content Team
• Design the framework of topics / keywords on social content measurement tracking
• Based on social media & SEO dashboards to review content strategies

The Person 

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience in market research, market intelligence, social intelligence or competitive intelligence
• Strong to do desktop research and compile reports for presentation
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and sensitivity to numbers and data
• Understanding of OTT industry's key technology trends and market dynamics is preferred
• Hands on experience of using market and social intelligence tools
• Some understanding of the Financial Statements
• Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua
• Experience in Google Analytics and Tableau is an advantage 
• More experience will be considered as Senior Analyst
