Job Description
Urban Hatch - a new online and offline support hub for expecting and new parents - are seeking a full time Marketing & Admin Executive to join their start-up. Founded by midwife and maternity specialist Sofie Jacobs, our mission is to help parents thrive from bump to birth and beyond.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about being involved
in a new business that is out there to make a difference. Your skillset will be varied and
you will have the ability to take on various marketing, administration, social media
content and event coordination related tasks.
About the Role:
● Marketing:
- maintaining and issuing email campaigns.
- Posting content into a WordPress website.
- Sharing content with partners.
- Brainstorming strategy with the team
- Reporting social media insights to the marketing manager
● Administration:
- ensuring customer relationship management system is kept up to date.
- invoicing clients.
● Social Media Content coordination:
- regularly posting content and stories on Instagram, Facebook and Linked In.
● Event Coordination:
- Event calendar coordination and venue booking.
- Posting online marketing for events, and updating related email campaigns
● Graphic Design:
- basic photo and content editing
Experience:
● Management of marketing campaigns
● Social media content management
● Basic graphic design skills
● Basic knowledge of maintaining and posting website content
● Experience reviewing analytics
● Experience using the following systems (or equivalent) is essential:
- Canva
- MailChimp
- Wordpress
- Microsoft Office Suite incl. Word, PowerPoint, Excel
● Experience using the following systems (or equivalent) is advantageous:
- EventBrite
- Asana
- Survey Monkey
Desired Characteristics:
● Proven attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly on the job
● Ambition to get involved, learn and develop
● Flexibility, intuition and passion for being involved in a new business in the health & wellness field
Working arrangements: working from co-working space in Central or Wong Chuk Hang (tbc), full-time. Candidate must already possess legal right to work in Hong Kong.
Commencement: August/September 2019
Language requirements: English with good communication
