Counselling and Development Section

The appointee is expected to provide individual and group counselling to students; to administer and interpret clinical, psychological and career testing; to plan and conduct training on topics relevant to developmental needs of students (psychological competence, mental health, etc.); to coordinate training programmes in promoting whole-person development; to participate in team projects of the Office; to be in charge of other administrative duties as assigned; and to align with the ethos of the University and philosophical orientation of the Office. He/She may also be required to take up a leadership role in projects according to his/her qualification and experience.

Applicants should have a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology, counselling, or related disciplines, with a minimum of three years’ relevant post-qualification experience. He/She should be registered or be eligible to register in the Hong Kong Psychological Society, or certified by the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association or equivalent. Applicants should possess good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have strong interest in working with university students. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
