RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas with efficient operations of warehouse management system(s) and related equipment, inventory received appropriately and efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse, proper layout of warehouse and product placement, and proper maintenance and organization of all warehouse areas
2. Assist Senior Manager in evaluatingtheoperational effectiveness and recommending alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product
3. Assist Senior Manager indifferent aspects of warehouse management, such as financial, operational, people and process and service related so as to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve
4. Be responsible for hotline customer services by closely monitoring the performance and KPIs as per the Army’s standard
5. Closely monitor the performance of Logistics team and make sure KPIs are reached
6. Develop Associates informally through training programs, on-floor coaching and providing performance based feedback
7. Establish good partnership with Business Development team and customers through meetings, eventsand feedback
8.  Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor and Head of Department
   

REQUIREMENTS

1. An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
2. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management or related disciplines
3. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Logistics Management
4. At least 5 years’experience in project management in warehousing or supply chain solutions
5. Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes 
6. Demonstrated strong cross-team collaboration, strong leadership and people management skill
7. Familiar with ISO9001/ ISO14001 standards and requirements is a plus
8. Advanced knowledge of MS office and familiar with WMS/ERP system
9. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skill
