Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness

The Centre invites applications for the following posts for a 3-year health and exercise promotion programme for the elderly.

The appointee will work on research projects related to promotion of musculoskeletal health for the elderly. Duties include: (a) assist in subject recruitment, questionnaire design, on-site assessments, documentation and data collection/analyses; and (b) provide necessary support to other ad hoc projects as assigned. The appointee will be required to work beyond office hour or during weekend occasionally.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, exercise sciences, biomedical, public health or related fields with at least three years of post-qualification research experience;
• effective communication skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
• analytical capability; and
• self-motivation and a good team player.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Reference salary range: HK$20,000 - HK$25,000 per month

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
