Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations in accordance with company standards including goods and materials handling, warehouse organization, distribution services
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse operations, including turndays, out-of-stock, nutrition labelling, picking productivity, space utilization etc  
• Evaluate the effectiveness or recommend alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of goods
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Implement safeguards for the warehouse operations and content by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols 
• Promoting safety, enforcing rules and training requirements
• Maintain the physical condition of warehouse through planning and implementing work flow design and layouts, inspecting equipment, and ensure timely and effective repairs are done
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts, assesses vendor capabilities and performances, address issues and concerns
• Drive and motivate warehouse staff to deliver results by coaching, counseling and training; conduct performance review and handle people issues

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• A minimum of 8 years of experience  in warehouse or  logistics management, with over 3 years at manager level
• Experience in managing groceries and cold storage is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Highly proactive and self-motived individual with commitment to excellence
• Team player with ability to lead and manage staff
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in standard logistics software and MS Office applications
• Good command of both written English and Chinese
