Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the planning & implementation of new business development opportunities in Asia Pacific region. The role will be involved from the initial planning & discussion stage, modeling, to the review of investment appraisal and post project review.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review business investment appraisals independently
  • Perform financial analyses on business investment appraisals to drive sustainable profitable growth in the region
  • Track, monitor and report new business performances
  • Manage and track management approval on investment appraisals
  • Manage built financial models and post project review reports for fact-based decision making
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand division/segment financial results, business trends and changing market conditions across the Asia Pacific region
  • Assist in the implementation of streamlined procedures and initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and work on special projects
  • Manage the timely issuance of real-time KPIs / Scorecards, and other reporting as needed

Requirements

  • Accounting or Finance degree with at least 6 years of directly related experience
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Financial planning experience in multi-national organization
  • Good time management, able to multi-tasks with tight schedules and projects deadlines
  • Ability to drive adherence to tight deadlines
  • Analytical and strong business acumen
  • Effective stakeholder management at all levels with the ability to resolve conflict
  • Ability to be a solution driver and influence others in a challenging environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills to drive result oriented discussion
