Responsibilities

• Draft, review and/or revise a broad range of legal documents for the Group, including general commercial contracts, distribution agreements, licensing agreements as well as handling intellectual property related matters;
• Support Implementation Process for Contracts: Sales or Implementation/Services focal point to provide interpretation, support and administration for contractual issues;
• Conduct legal researches in various jurisdictions and providing legal advice when required;
• Provide relevant legal support to other business units located in SE Asia and PRC;
• Maintain filing system of legal documents and registries;

Requirements

• Tertiary educated or above in legal studies, preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Laws or JD (either in HK or other common law jurisdiction) or equivalent
• With at least 3 years of practical experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contract, practices, legal documents and conducting legal research
• Good understanding of contract process or legal concepts
• Detail-oriented, independent, analytical and demonstrated ability to read, interpret, draft, modify and negotiate simple legal documents
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Chinese Word processing
• Exposure in providing general legal support in retail business industry or PRC business will be an added advantage
