Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness

The Centre invites applications for the following posts for a 3-year health and exercise promotion programme for the elderly.

The appointee is expected to perform the following duties: (a) coordinate and implement health promotion project related to muscle-strengthening exercise for the elderly; (b) organise training courses and workshops; (c) execute research projects on outcome assessments of health promotion; (d) manage website and apps; (e) prepare documentations related to the projects; (f) liaise with internal and external parties; (g) provide support to the office administration and daily operations; and (h) perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned. The appointee will be required to work beyond office hour or during weekend occasionally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• at least two years of post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in project coordination and management;
• excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
• computer literacy, e.g. Microsoft Windows and Chinese word processing;
• practical knowledge in software design, e.g. InDesign and Photoshop; 
• strong problem solving skills and project execution capability;
• good interpersonal and communication skills;
• diligent and self-motivated work manner, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to details; and
• ability to work both independently and cooperatively with other team members under a multi-tasking environment.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Reference salary range: HK$20,000 - HK$24,000 per month

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
