Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC)

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC) is an integral part of the School of Business. EIC is responsible for organising seminars, entrepreneurship competitions and other related activities to support the School’s entrepreneurship education. EIC also supports the School in hosting conferences, seminars and special events.

The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to EIC. Duties include assisting in the coordination work of EIC activities, School-level events and entrepreneurship courses activities; updating website; preparing newsletter and promotional materials; liaising with external and internal stakeholders; and performing other duties as assigned. Working beyond regular office hours is occasionally required. 

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) with strong interpersonal skills as well as communication skills and be a good team player. He/ She should also be mature; able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced working environment. Proficiency in MS Office, Chinese and English Word Processing and knowledge of graphic design (e.g. use of Adobe Illustrator/ Adobe Photoshop) are required.  Candidates with experience in event management will be an advantage. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
