POSITION SUMMARY & FUNCTIONS:

Full time based in Kwun Tong, Kowloon Hong Kong. The position supports the planning and delivery of key projects for leading brands within the sports apparel and equipment segments. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

l   Working with product innovation team to help transform early product ideas and concepts into high quality samples and product presentations.

l   Strong support for the planning and on time delivery of our seasonal product trend presentations.

l   Continually developing brand standards throughout our locations in Asia (and the wider divisional team).

l   On-hand artwork and design support to sales and development teams working on live customer projects.

l   Developing and implementing programs to effectively feed work to production team on a smooth and efficient basis.

l   Accompany sales team members on customer calls and visits to understand and support expectations.

l   Market/Competitor Surveillance, reporting key external sports apparel market trends and drivers to leadership team via monthly report to Asia Product Manager. Monthly report also highlights internal progress on key projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

l   Three to five years of graphic design experience, preferably in a related product area and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

l   Excellent computer skills, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other graphic oriented computer programs. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is also required. 

l   Knowledge of printing manufacturing processes, ideally including experience with silk screen printing and production is preferable.

l   Excellent project management abilities.

l   Proven organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

l   Good command of written and spoken English.

l   A strong sense of confidentiality.

l   A proactive spirit, strong self-motivation, respect for others and adaptability. 

l   A warm and engaging approach to client interactions.
