Job Description

Our client is a fast expanding life insurance organisation offering a wide range of insurance products to the clients. Due to recent expansion, they are inviting experienced candidates to join the Team.

 

The Job:  

  • Manage and monitor the implementation of projects to ensure successful completion of projects according to agreed scope, time and quality.
  • Liaise with business leaders/users throughout the process and drive critical decisions with sponsors and the sponsor’s expectations
  • Work with external vendors & internal users to ensure application systems and manpower resources for project completion
  • Control, manage and report issues, risks and changes in scope
  • Assist in the development of effective development methodologies, training procedures and other requirements
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and perform UAT
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to management on quality assurance review of the projects assigned

 

The Requirements:   

  • Degree Holder preferably in Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive project management experience in life insurance corporations 
  • Solid experience in projects of different insurance systems, e.g. Agency Compensation/Operations /Product Development/ Mobile Application/Life Operations/ Underwriting/ New Business, etc
  • Strong at people engagement and be able to manage interests of different parties/departments
  • Hands-on experience in Java and/or .NET, vendor management experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) required
  • Understanding of various project management methodologies practices
  • Detailed-oriented, strong Project Management Skill set
  • Strong communication skills and a team player

 

Candidate with more experience can be considered as Project Manager
