The Cafe Supervisor ensures the proper operations, supervision and assessment of Baumhaus Cafe, activities and events in an effort to enhance the mission of Baumhaus Cafe with an emphasis on improving efficiency of store operations, coffee promotions, community service and coffee experience programs

Requirements:

- at least one year café supervising experience
- Professional experience within the food and beverage industry or equivalent experience

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask, organize, advise and manage budgets

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may vary and other duties may be assigned.

• Daily operations management of the Baumhaus coffee lounge area and maintain cash register. End of day sales is enveloped, signed and transferred to Baumhaus manager.
• Lead, supervise and coach service staff on delivering high quality customer service
• Ideate and execute new items and promotions with team to better serve customer needs
• Supervise deliveries and ensure the quality and the quantity of deliveries are at delivered in good condition.
• Inform Café Manager should items are delivered incorrectly or in unacceptable condition.
• Maintain professional hygiene and cleanliness of the food prep and service area
• Manage inventory and replenish stock efficiently
• Motivate, train new staffs and develop team spirit
• Support Baumhaus events and promotions throughout the year.

• Assist the Café Manager in the tracking, management and creation of the departmental purchases and spending

Working Hours:

Baumhaus Cafe’s work week is Sunday through Saturday from 8:50 am to 6:30 pm. In order to accommodate the café’s business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings. Employees may be required to work overtime.
