The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:

1. Run and support the infrastructure solutions in the most effective way (day and on-call night & week-end support);

2. Administer, optimize and tune the servers and related components to ensure high availability of the various business applications;

3. Diagnose and fix incidents as quickly as possible, and make sure that the root cause analyses are done to prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening, as well as to eliminate recurring incidents;

4. Maintain up to date the infrastructure inventory for what is relevant (technical inventory & technical guides and processes);

5. Deal with multiple incidents/tasks simultaneously;

6. Actively participate in all areas of daily operations involving several technologies such as Microsoft, Linux, and storage.

7. Work in collaboration with different teams (Architecture, Global Network, Messaging, Databases, and Applications etc.)

8. Proactive detection, troubleshooting and resolution of systems issues;

1. Be compliant with the ITIL processes in place in Re:Sources (Incident, Problem, Patch, Change, Release and deployment);

    

2. Develop a good working relationship with peers across the organization and work closely with the various IT functions in the Region; 

    

3. Adapt working hours to fit agreed business requirements;

    

4. On-call availability, occasional overtime and weekend work; sitting for extended periods of time.

Experience/Qualifications/Certifications

• Degree holder of IT

• Minimum 2 years of IT experience

• IT Certification on Server and OS related is preferred

   

Work Experience

• Windows (Active Directory, GPO, NTFS…)

• VMWare

• Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Suse…)

• Monitoring and ISM tool

• WSUS, SCCM, Antivirus SEP, OS firewall management

   

Knowledge

• Clustering

• Web services : IIS, Apache, Tomcat

• LAN, MAN, WAN,  VPN

• Authentication : Radius, SSL, Active Directory, SSH, DNS, DHCP

• FTP, SFTP setup and access management

• Database experience (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)

• Experience in SAN / NAS / San Switches (Zoning/config)

• Azure Experience / Veeam Experience

• Any knowledge in scripting is an advantage

• Ability to conduct research into systems/ OS issues as required;
