Major responsibilities :

• Prepare creative writing for chamber event blurbs 
• Copywrite / proofread all events marketing materials for website and social media posts
• Create, design and maintain events promotion page on website.
• Act as liaison between moderators and panellists/speakers of our conferences and events
• Follow up with sponsors on sponsorship entitlements (e.g. advertisements / marketing exposure etc.)
• Oversee events registration, RSVP status, attendee data, invitations and all related requirements from time to time
• Liaise with outside parties (e.g. caterer, vendors, event agency and sponsors)
• Provide onsite events management & ad-hoc support
• Organize monthly networking drinks event

Other duties include :

• Administration work within events team
• Events payments follow up
• Internal liaison across departments on finance, IT and events management system issues etc.
• Events logistics such as name badges arrangement, premium sourcing etc.
• Ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements :

• University graduate with 1-2 years relevant working experience
• Native English speaker and excellent English writing skills are must
• Good interpersonal, communication & problem-solving skills
• Attention to details and able to work under heavy workload
• Service-oriented with a pro-active and can-do attitude
• Proficiency with computer systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge on Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator is an advantage
