Background of Employer

Our client is one of the top 3 leading company in its industry, which specializes in providing services for both B2B & B2C customers, with its regional Asia Pacific HQ based in Hong Kong. Due to expansion after acquiring another sizable company recently, there are a lot of projects involved in area of post M&A integration such as ERP systems migration, etc. They have recently created a new 12-month contractual headcount for supporting the FP&A team with a size of over 30EEs in Hong Kong.

Job Duties

Reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager- APAC, you will play a major role in project evaluation and recommendation, financial reporting, forecasting and planning, budgeting and financial system development and support. You will have the opportunities to work with various departments to provide financial services and consultancy. You will support monthly reporting and analysis, forecasts, and the annual business planning processes. You will also partner with management on investment decisions by analyzing financial information. You will collaborate with internal and external functional teams to accomplish various tasks and projects. You will perform ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis. You will proactively identify and analyze risks, opportunities and constraints. Evaluate and present recommendations and actions, to support decision making.  

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with major in Accountancy/ Finance

- At least 3-5 years of experience preferred in advisory firms and other commercial financial analysis experience in regional scale

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; additional experience in Tableau will be a PLUS

- Proficiency in English

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills

- Strong relationship management and communication skills

***Though the role is a 12 month contractual headcount with no room for extension, as its FP&A team size is really significant and you may expect there would be healthy organization turnover annually, you will have high chance to fill up the permanent headcount as long as your performance is proven together with presence of business needs.
