Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess audit risk in the risk assessment process, design and execute appropriate data analytics tests to address audit risk.
• Provide results and findings to the financial audit team to assist in forming an audit opinion
• Document and test clients’ IT general controls to analyse system security, access and recovery controls
• Perform data analyses through visualisations – graphs, charts, tables, dashboards and evaluate trends, patterns, anomalies and outliers.
• Assist in the development of visualisation templates and dashboards.
• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision
• Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
• Professional qualifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA, CISM
• At least 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Python, Visual Basic, SQL and other scripting/coding languages
• Experience in Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau, IDEA, ACL and other business intelligence and analytics tools are desirable
• Ability to work successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
• Strong interest in the connection between Information Technology and Finance
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Be passionate about providing exceptional quality service and striving to exceed client expectations
