The Job:

• Responsible for preparing various regular reports including monthly and quarterly financial analysis reports for management’s review in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
• Prepare monthly management reporting package and annual budget reports
• Prepare various financial analysis materials for management’s strategic meetings
• Prepare monthly BU management accounts, analyzing performance of each individual business unit between actual against budget, and prepare commentary on each BU performance, in particular analyzing the performance as compared against industry benchmark, market performance, and assets held by each BU
• Assist in setting KPIs and communicating with business units on financial performance
• Prepare roadshow and credit rating related materials to assist management to respond questions raised by investors and analysts during roadshow
• Keep track of departmental assets of the Group to ensure each business unit acts within its remit
• Advise front-line business unit on accounting treatment of new products and also prepare group accounting policy
• Any other ad hoc reports requested by management

Requirements:

We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.

• Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent is preferred
• No less than 10 years of experience in financial institutions, with at least 5 years at managerial level.
• Experience in Chinese financial institution is a must
• Knowledge in financial instruments is a must
• Experience as buy-side analyst is preferred
• Experience in writing Chinese reports is required
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical mind and good time management skills; able to work independently and as a team with good communication & interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel with strong PowerPoint skills is required; exposure to various accounting software will be an advantage
