Job Description
The Law Society seeks applications from enthusiastic, competent and suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Standards & Development Officer in the Standards & Development Department.
The candidate will primarily be responsible for assisting in the administration of the Law Society’s Continuing Professional Development Scheme and Risk Management Education Programme. Other duties will include co-ordinating the setting, sitting and marking of the Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination conducted by the Law Society and any other examinations as may be implemented by the Law Society from time to time. Applicants should have:
- relevant tertiary qualifications with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- experience in logistical arrangements of professional examinations and/or training programmes at a professional level is highly desirable;
- strong communication, organisational and motivational skills and be capable of liaising with academics and legal practitioners at a senior level; and
- good computer skills.
