The appointee will provide organisational and language support in Italian for a teaching and learning project that connects foreign language classes of higher education institutions in Hong Kong and the European Union (EU) on an e-learning platform encouraging intercultural communication competence, community awareness and language enhancement. He/She is expected to (i) supervise content preparation and project activities in Italian; (ii) liaise with existing partners in Europe and in Hong Kong; (iii) establish new partnerships for the project; and (iv) assist in promotional activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution;
• relevant teaching and learning experience in Italian;
• fluency in Italian and English; and
• excellent computer literacy, including MS Office and Google Apps.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year, commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
