Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day office operations of the HKTDC properties
  • Provide technical support in planning and executing facilities management for a mixed portfolio of office premises, industrial complex and residential properties
  • Assist in achieving strategic objectives and goals, and formulate operational procedures to facilitate effective operation and efficient deployment of resources
  • Manage various facilities management and coordinate and monitor various projects to ensure the delivery of quality facilities services
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers / contractors for effective space management
  • Prepare tender documents
  • Oversee and monitor the performance of contractors / service agents and to conduct periodic review of their service contracts
  • Maintain the updated office layout plans, electrical / mechanical drawings, maintenance records, property assets records, etc.
  • Provide design services and office layout proposals to overseas offices
  • Manage and maintain health and safety, fire safety, security, maintenance systems, periodic statutory testing and inspections
  • Coordinate the compliance of ISO14001, 18001 and 26000 systems

 Requirements:

  • University degree in facilities management / engineering / surveying / building services or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in facilities management
  • Knowledge of interior design, E & M system maintenance and design will be an asset
  • Experience in ISO projects a definite advantage
  • Strong PC skills, especially in AutoCAD
  • Excellent project planning and management skills
  • Able to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues
  • Good customer oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, well-organised, multi-tasking and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Occasional travel to monitor overseas offices renovation work
Candidates with more solid and relevant experience will be offered the Assistant Facilities Manager position.
 
 
Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
