Responsibilities:

² Develop and establish effective and appropriate compliance policies and procedures  for the Company as a whole and for individual business and operations units;

² Identify and evaluate compliance risks of the operations and business activities;

² Review, update, test and enhance the compliance frameworks on the Company's various business activities and initiatives;

² Manage and handle inquiries and investigation from various regulators;

² Supervise licensing matters/KYC checks;

² Plan, develop and conduct internal trainings on all compliance related issues;

² Keep abreast of regulatory developments and provide regulatory updates and compliance advice on business initiatives;

² Work closely with back office, front office, internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities on compliance issues;

² Ensure the smooth operation of the team;

² Perform ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

² Undergraduate degree in Law, Accounting, Finance; or related disciplines;

² 3-5 years of compliance experience with at least 2 years at a supervisory level in securities and futures houses;

² Well versed with Company Ordinances, Securities and Futures Ordinances and other statutory and regulatory requirements on KYC, AML and good knowledge in financial products and commercial practices in SFC regulated activities, insurance broker & money lenders business;

² Good managerial and analytical skills;

² A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as high degree of professional maturity;

² Independent, able to work efficiently with minimum supervision;

² Able to work independently and under pressure;

² Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Chinese and English, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
