The Role

•         Report to the Chief Operation Officer
•         Manage the daily activities of the fund operations function including new fund launching projects and on-boarding procedures for existing funds
•         Handle middle to back office operations, including reviewing fund documents， KYC procedure and assist in various fund filings, fund audits and in maintaining fund databases
•         Ensure accounting books and records for funds and financial reports
•         Coordinate order processing and ensure accurate and timely settlement for fund transactions, including Private Equity Fund and Open-ended Fund
•         Close communication with internal or external parties, such as Legal & Compliance, fund administrators, banks, custodian on fund related matters
• Provide other ad hoc tasks as required from COO

Preferred qualifications/attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines preferred.
• 1-2 years of fund operations background, with knowledge of wide range of investment products for hedge funds; and with experience in private fund products; and worked for asset management company would be an advantage
• A good team player, passionate, detail-minded and keen to develop career in asset management industry;
• Good communication skills in both English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
• Passes in HKSI Examinations (Qualified under SFO for handling Regulated Activities Types 1, 4 & 9) is advantage.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and long hours when required
