Job Description:

• Product research and analysis – evaluate trends and consumer insights to identify new play experiences for kids of all ages.
• Idea generation and Concept design - following on to concept sketching and eventual rendering (including control drawing, material, and color specifications).
• Monitoring of sculpture and model making – work with sculptors and model shops to create aesthetic and functional models.
• Definition of product features through written documents and diagrams and use of cutting edge technologies.
• 2D and 3D presentations for internal approval purposes.
• Management of product design throughout the development process.
• Collaboration with communication with engineers, vendors & R&D departments.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Design or related disciplines.
• 8 years’ relevant experience in the toy industry.
• Proficiency in 2D design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw).
• Knowledge of 3D software is preferable (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Z-Brush, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English.        
• Must speak either Cantonese or Mandarin.
