Job Description

Employment Type: Full time, permanent

Principal Work Location: Hong Kong

Commencement Date: ASAP

Markets Focus: APAC Regional, HK, Taiwan and China

Business Travelling: Rarely

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand the digital display advertising landscape and where a “programmatic first” approach fits within client campaign strategy.
  • Evangelise programmatic highlighting its strengths and purpose on a plan and educate junior members and account teams.
  • Implement and execute plans to build campaign structures, audiences and targeting strategy.
  • Daily monitoring and co-ordination of campaigns, and proactively make optimisations to demonstrate how you have improved performance and achieved Client KPIs.
  • Evaluation of campaigns, ensuring you are fuelling insights and providing clear recommendations by utilising the data from Demand Side Platforms, Adservers and other industry tools that you will have access to.
  • Passionate about ad tech, developments in the wider industry, and for testing new solutions and data suppliers.
  • Maintain strong beneficial relationships with media owners that ensure Ptarmigan is best placed in PMP negotiations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor degree holder in any discipline.
  • Preferably 2 year + of working experience in a programmatic and digital activation capacity.
  • Expert in the Google stack.
  • Demonstrates excellent listening skills and keeps team up to date by actively feeding information up and down.
  • Thinks proactively: challenges briefs where necessary, and actively takes relevant ideas and proposals to account teams.
  • Be highly organised, can multitask and proactively manage workload to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Good in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

This is a new role in the digital team where you will be the agency’s programmatic lead and expert. You will need to build close, strong working relationships with all internal account and ad ops teams.
