Job Description

 General Responsibilities:

•Work as part of a team yet should be independent enough to troubleshoot technical problems on their own.

•Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation procedures.

•Manage user expectations in terms of complex problem resolution times.

•Act as a liaison to vendors' service representatives to resolve problems.

•Manage and coordinate both simple and complex hardware/software deployments.

•The ability to coordinate and execute any moves, adds and changes within the main buildings and warm sites office.

•The ability to support remote office locations as needed.

•Daily support of a very active, fast-paced, high volume, diverse trading environment

•Responsible for day-to-day implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including all hardware, software, telephone.

•Documentation of all systems including existing and new applications, scheduled maintenance, and incoming direct wires/demark information.

•Responsible for assisting on projects for other groups, such as Facilities, Network, Telecom.

•Frontline Support for all Desktop Software

•Coordinate & Manage Vendor Support

• Shift-duty, work hours including public holiday, Saturday (AM), day with typhoon hoisted as needed.

Requirement:

•Higher diploma in Computing Science or other relevant disciplines.

•Experience in a financial service trade floor IT support environment.

•Experience on troubleshooting issue on Windows OS (Win7, Win 10), MS Office, Outlook and network

•Hands on experience in Microsoft Infrastructure Configuration (Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, SharePoint)

•Strong problem-solving skills required.

•Ambitious and willing to learn new technologies.

•Holder of MCSE, MCITP, CCNA will be an advantage

•Good command of written and spoken English
